Day 4 of NH trip

Morning
Freezing rain and ice on road so no field trip.
Created calibration ice blocks and imaged from garage at two zooms before blocks collapsed due to rain.
Afternoon - Evening (1:00PM - 5:00PM)
Went to CRREL post lunch.
Talked to Kerry about IR camera images - effect of viewing angle and formats. Kerry said he would conduct some expts and get back with certain answers about why the image had gradient from near the camera across the river till other end.
Talked to two more scientists at CRREL and showed some of our preliminary results.

Visit to CRREL library to see some pictures from camps showing sea ice and its features.

- Got a CD with current methods of sea ice roughness measurement techniques.
- Realized that we had not got the correct images from SEDNA trip or the report and proposals.
- Asked for video footage taken from helicopters over sea ice.
